Thank you for your heart and for your relentless faith. Such a truth for all of us to examine in our lives and a realization, that God's plan trumps "our" plan.... everytime. As Christ followers, we are called to put Jesus first in our lives and our spouse and family next, our job....etc. but as we know, this WORLD lavishes our vulnerability with temptation, so we sometimes lose sight of our priorities and our valuable treasures. As I grow older, I am reminded daily that we are certainly not promised another breath or blink of an eye...and the importance of making each day count for Him should be our daily goal. You are so right....God's design in our lives is flawless with a peace He wants for us, that passes all our understanding, and we cannot waste a moment in cherishing the people in our lives that he has blessed us with...our spouses, our families, and our friends. Thank you and Kelly for being treasures in our lives, that we value to our core.

Re: Important

For me, the realization of how precious life is started when I had a miscarriage during my first pregnancy. Like you said, I lost all the dreams I had for that baby. I began to realize just how miraculous life is. In fact, my doctor put it this way..."It's not so strange that these things would happen but that a child is ever born healthy." Then, my son, who was one of those miracles, had a flurry of seizures, and I realized even more how I had to treasure the people I love. I watched, not knowing what the days or years were going to bring for our family. The sudden loss of my aunt in an accident further reminded me of this. Thank you for sharing and making this fresh reminder to me of what is really important. It's funny to me that these tragedies in my life made me more relaxed, not more scared. I learned that God is holding me and He is able to carry me even through the worst moments of my life. He is always with us. You're an amazing family and God has wonderful plans for you.

Re: Important

Fantastic post
