Thanks for the link on the webcampus. I actually saw this when you posted it back in february on Flickr and the cleanest office contest. Thanks for the link. I have also been in convo with Ken Wilson about video aspects. I wish I could get you two together one day and pick your brains.

The service is recorded live during our 9:15AM service in Anderson with Nick being switched in and out on the fly. The video is then played at 11:15AM and 6:00PM EST. The community that takes places around the service is all live. There are a couple of advantages that "live live" has, but it also has several major negatives. Due to bandwidth costs and stability questions we decided that we would launch with this format instead of a "live live" web campus.

If for some reason our encode fails or we are unable to get the .flv uploaded to Lightcast in time for the service our backup plan is to cue up one of the services that we did as practice prior to launch. We have a couple of these messages already uploaded to Lightcast so all we need is an internet connection in order to change out the video that our web console is calling.

Good question, currently it is simply for redundancy's sake, but in the future a higher and lower bandwidth setting may be done. Just when you think you checked all the links a broken one turns up. It is fixed now. Thanks.

Why are their two FME computers? Is it for redundancy or do you encode ant different specs.

Yes, definite oversight on my part. You must have chili pepper lights for proper mood lighting!!! I'm glad that Lee was able to get the transplant, I'll continue to pray for him. That is fantastic that you guys could use the WC in that situation.

Will, hate to be "that guy", but I see no mention of Chili Pepper Lights anywhere in that wiring diagram. That's the equivalent of a Chicken Noodle Soup recipe with no water.

Seriously though, you guys are reaching people. Got to worship at MUSC prior to my brother-in-law's liver transplant, and it's a good thing. Glad you are a part of it.
